Seychelles’ amendment to the Beneficial Ownership Act, 2020 imposes new requirements on Seychelles IBCs, which should be complied with by the end of 2023.

One of the main changes brought about by the amendment is the requirement to provide the National Identification Number or equivalent (NIN, if any) and the Tax Identification Number or equivalent (TIN, if any) for the beneficial owner as well as the nominee (if any).

The British Virgin Islands (BVI) Business Companies Act and Regulations were amended and became effective on 1 January 2023 to include the preparation and submission of a Financial Annual Return (FAR). The official FAR form was published on 2 March 2023 in the Gazette.

From 1 January 2023, BVI companies must prepare and file an annual return with their registered agent containing specific financial information.
