Regulations for the Production of Artisan Cosmetic Products in Panama

Executive Decree No. 875 of November 18, 2021 regulates the production of artisanal cosmetic products in Panama.

Artisanal cosmetic products are defined as personal care products, such as creams, emulsions, lotions, balms, gels, skin oils, hydro and oil serums, make-up except for the eye contour, soaps, bath products, perfumes, eau de toilette, eau de cologne, deodorants, which are included within the categories of cosmetic products prepared based on traditional formulas and techniques that do not involve high-tech industrial processes.
