Icaza, González-Ruiz & Alemán provided legal advisory services to SUNSTAR HOTELS AND DEVELOPMENT, S.A., the owner of Bijao Beach Resort, formerly known as Sheraton Bijao Hotel, one of the most important beach resorts on the Pacific coast of Panama, in the sale of 100% of the shares.

The firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions team, led by our partner Alexis V. Herrera Jr. and assisted by associates Alfredo Fonseca and Adolfo González-Ruiz, was the sole legal advisor to the company’s shareholders during this multimillion-dollar transaction, including but not limited to the due diligence phase, negotiations, and the successful closing.
