Icaza, González-Ruiz & Alemán names corporate law specialist Domingo Díaz de la Guardia its newest partner

Icaza, González-Ruiz & Alemán is pleased to announce that Domingo Díaz de la Guardia has been named a new partner of the firm.

Domingo brings ten years of legal experience to his new role, specializing in Corporate Law, Administrative Law, and Special Economic Zones.

He earned his Law and Political Science degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua. He then obtained a Master of Laws from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, USA. Domingo furthered his education with a Specialization in Taxation from Universidad Especializada del Contador Público Autorizado in Panama, and an MBA with a dual degree from Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala and the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.

Domingo is currently an active member of the National Bar Association and the American Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Panama (AMCHAM), where he serves on the Trade and Investment, Legislation and Taxes, and Transportation and Logistics committees.
