Icaza appoints Alexis V. Herrera León and Alexandra Lasso M. as new associates
ALEXIS V. HERRERA LEÓN
We announce the incorporation of Alexis V. Herrera León as the firm’s new international associate.
Our new international associate joins Icaza, González-Ruiz & Alemán in 2025, in the practice areas of Banking and Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Corporate Law. His career with the firm began in 2019, when he completed an internship in the International Corporations Department, supporting the incorporation and administration of foreign companies. Between 2019 and 2021, he collaborated with Icaza Trust Corporation in the management of trusts and international wealth structures. Later, in 2023, he served as a legal assistant in Mergers and Acquisitions and Public Procurement, expanding his experience in corporate transactions and contractual processes with state entities.
ALEXANDRA LASSO MARÍN
We also announce the incorporation of Alexandra Lasso Marín as the firm’s new associate.
She joins Icaza, González-Ruiz & Alemán as an associate with extensive experience in corporate, financial, and maritime law. Before joining the firm, she worked as an associate at renowned national and international law firms, including Arias Law, Anzola Robles & Asociados, and Paredes & Asociados, between 2018 and 2024.
Throughout her career, she has advised on commercial transactions, financing structures, and regulatory compliance, and has experience in corporate research and legal management in both the private and public sectors.
