05/10/2019On August 28 and 29, industry experts gathered at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, USA to participate in the 2017 International Law Enforcement Intellectual Property Crime Conference and our Division of Trademark Protection attended the event in representation of the firm. The Conference is recognized as the law enforcement “gold standard” for promoting global action against counterfeiting and piracy crimes.
This important event was co-hosted by INTERPOL, U.S. U.S., Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the U.S. National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center (IPR Center) in partnership with UL (Underwriters Laboratories) and the International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition (IACC).
The conference provides a vital platform to share best practices, develop new tools and create stronger partnerships to advance the common purpose of combatting transnational organized IP crime, promoting safety worldwide and developing joint initiatives.
