Icaza sponsored CESCON’s conference on Arbitration and Public Procurement, with Albany Broce serving as moderator of the legal breakfast

Icaza, González-Ruiz & Alemán was one of the sponsoring firms of the “Arbitration and Public Procurement” conference, organized by the Conflict Resolution Center (CESCON) in Panama. This event brought together arbitration law experts who examined the main challenges in enforcing arbitral awards in public infrastructure projects, while also presenting strategies and mechanisms to ensure their effective implementation.

Our associate, Ms. Albany Broce, attended and participated as the moderator of the legal breakfast titled “Arbitration, Ethics, and Professional Responsibility: The Role of Young Professionals in Proceedings with Public Impact.” During the panel, Ms. Broce led the discussion in which experts debated ethical challenges in arbitration and emphasized the importance of active engagement from the new generation of lawyers in processes with public relevance.
